  My loved one has been in three different facilities. This one is the best of the three BY FAR. I give them four instead of five stars because there is always room for improvement. I would like to be able to come and go as I please, and use the entire facility. They have it locked down for the safety of the residents, but it makes it hard on visitors and wish they could give frequent visitors the code to the door and keys to the refrigerator that is meant for residents, but locked for their safety. (It's pretty stupid, the refrigerator is truly just a decoration at this point). I disagree with others who posted they are unhappy with the staff. The staff here is phenomenal compared to the other two residences with which I have experience. There is a feeling of genuine care at Superior that you just can't quite put your finger on. It's not clinical, it's like family. Everyone knows everybody. Family members who visit frequently get to know each other. The staff bonds with residents, and often you'll see someone painting a resident's nails, or holding hands and walking the halls "just because". While it is true there is a very high turnover rate, somehow it's never felt like a hospital. I highly recommend Superior Residences.
