  Upon calling this office after being referred by my Doctor. I was asked if I was on pain medication, I answered yes. At that point I was told the Doctor does (not) write prescriptions for pain. In years of being on pain management I have NEVER heard of a pain management Doctor/Anesthesiologist that does not write prescriptions for pain! I was told he will give injections which in my case as well as many, many others cannot be used to control my type of pain. I do know injections are very expensive and Doctors who only use these types of pain control are basically unheard of. I felt like I was being pushed away, before even seeing the Doctor. No one at the office even knew what my condition/disease was.
